Last term South African born recorder player, Stefan Temmingh, toured South Africa giving masterclasses and we were fortunate enough to have him give one at the school where I work. He is now a German resident, where he studied and perfected his craft. Even is you wouldn't consider recorder your instrument of choice, you really should listen to some of his music. He is a brilliant musician and has recorded some amazing interpretations of well-known, and not so well-known works. A true performer and an enthusiastic and eloquent speaker. Most enjoyable masterclass.
