Introduction to Short & Sweet

I have never really understood why people blog. It has always been something that sounds interesting, but then who really has time to blog, and who honestly has time to read a blog? I have tried reading a few other people's blogs in the past, but found them too lengthy and quite boring. Not that I'm saying their blog was/is boring, but more that I'm not really interested in reading people's daily ramblings. Call me shallow, but when Pinterest arrived, I realised that I really am a picture person and I like reading stories that are short and to the point. Maybe I have some sort of attention deficit disorder or something, as I don't even like music that goes on for too long, or a chorus that is repeated more than once in a row. Once it's been heard, we know it, we get it. It is picture's that interest me, with short and sweet captions or explanations. I have since found that these are the type of blogs I do enjoy, such as one of my friend's, who has been an inspiration for this blog initiation. Ridiculous as a contradiction this may be, I have decided to start this blog to share my love for music, as I am a teacher (who has to be patient in listening to students play the same phrases over and over again), I have also done a Master's in Music, which has inspired me to share bits of what I have learnt during this process, but in small doses.
