Cape Town International Jazz Festival

Even though I am unable to attend this year, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival  is a favourite annual event. There is always a good selection of international and African artists, as well as a variety of styles of music. There is something for the die-hard jazz fans, and other styles varying from hip-hop, dance and house to world music.

It is not only a festival to bring amazing musicians onto our beautiful continent, but also to celebrate and share African music. The festival also brings an audience from around South Africa to Cape Town for the event. What an awesome way to show off our city!

I believe that the tickets are already sold out, so if you aren't someone who is keen to hang out at the door for people selling off their tickets at the last minute, then mark it off in next years calender and make sure to look out for the event. I know I'm going to!
